Bushcraft SWAG camping in winter in the Boreal forest

According to common sense a swag is too big ,too heavy and at the same time too small to take for a winter camp on foot ...and i disagree ... :D
For that trip that big swag canvas bag was home to: the swag, my most comfortable camping mattress ( R8.3!) ,my -35 Taiga sleeping bag ,a pillow, my saw,my axe,a foam camping mat, a tarp,a tripod and some more camping items ... the pulk was just a bit fuller than usual ...
For some mystical reasons that shelter and mattress combination is the most comfortable i ever slept in , year long , that's why i use it most of the time when overlanding ,it's also one of the quickest shelter to set up . Short : i really like it , that's why i use it occasionally for winter camping ,despite the huge packed size for a one person shelter .
